Security and parking were acceptable.
The reception of Gary and Tosca was very rude and we nearly left without entering the guesthouse. The bedsheets were not clean and the pillows had unconfortable smell and we had to use towels to dampen the smell. Breakfast was bad. We got to eat the same things on daily basis. We were expecting a proper buffet but what we experienced was not up to standard . The staff members just stood and watched us while eating and that was irritating a lot.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff here are incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction, and their hospitality was second to none. The breakfast each morning was top-notch, with a delicious meal cooked just for me. The location of this hotel is fantastic, nestled on the slope of Entabeni hills, offering stunning views and a peaceful ambiance. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

We were delighted with the accommodation which was spacious, with a fantastic bed. The breakfast was excellent offering a wide choice of menu together with a large selection of teas. The views from the lounge are outstanding with a panoramic vista of the harbor and surrounds. The parking area is well planned and secure. Gary, Toska, and Daphne were very welcoming and very attentive, and the staff were well trained and available when needed We will most certainly stay at the lodge in the future. Bill and Eve Thompson

Great accommodation experience! The breakfast was always good, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The views from the common areas were breathtaking, and the location was perfect for my business trip. The rooms were very clean and tidy.
The Wi-Fi was not very strong in the rooms. It was hard to work on my laptop, which meant I had to work from the common areas occasionally. Also, there was not a lot of variety for breakfast options. Despite these cons, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel due to its excellent service and stunning views.

The place was clean and tidy
It felt as if I was back at school with all the rules.I Know eating in the rooms are not allowed but we were specifically told to eat outside. I made arraingements to eat breakfast early as I had to leave at 7am. The doors to the breakfast room were still locked at 06:55. The stay was an uncomfortable one.

Stay was comfortable, with hospitable hosts and a great view of the city from the balcony. the location was convenient, with easy access to shops and restaurants, and secure off-street parking was a plus.
Some restrictions were placed on meeting times, which may be inconvenient for business travelers.

Gary and his staff are very friendly and really enjoyed our time with them.
They can invest into better towels, something more fluffy than the dish-cloth tye they currently use - Just a suggestion

Our family had a wonderful stay in a beautiful guest house located on the slope of a hill, overlooking the ocean in a secure area. the generous hosts thoughtfully provided umbrellas on a rainy day while Gary offered recommended local restaurants. the spacious rooms were clean and quiet with a delicious breakfast cooked by the hospitable Gary. the pleasant view of the surrounding area was our favorite. Convenient facilities like Wi, Fi and suggested attractions enhance the experience.
It's a common issue with many guesthouses, and this one is no exception , Wi, Fi providing inconsistent signals.
